I was watching CNN this morning when I saw an item about Dave Brubeck's death at 92. Take Five was an all time classic. My brother ona visit to NY a few years ago saw him playing live..

Bought Take five just two months back from flipkart. Liked it very much. It is my first Dave Brubeck CD.
RIP Dave Brubeck.

Aaaah.. !! Yes i remember him from the track for Take five!! .. RIP!! My brother loves his songs.. the ones he didn't compose and yet played even!!! Mr Brubeck will surely be missed @ our home !!

Sad. The Khanda-Chapu jazz man is gone. I saw it on the BBC News site yesterday, including footage of him performing at a ripe old age: almost, I guess, until the end.

RIP Dave Brubeck. Take Five was a classic and so was the album (Timeout). I had the pleasure of attending his concert live in Saratoga (Bay area). Great music.
