Which one would be a better (cleaner, less boomy, going deeper) subwoofer?

It will be used 70% for movies/tv and 30% for music in a room approx 200sqft. So not looking for a large size sub.

If you own either of them how was your experience?

Any other subs would you recommend?

Also can anyone suggest who are the dealers/distributors for DefTech/Velodyne in mumbai and the price I can expect to pay in India for either of them?

I'd like to know as well as I am considering a subwoofer for my setup right now.
Either I stretch my budget and go all the way with a velodyne / hsu or I stick to the Wharfedale / Polk subs.

Where can one audition a Velodyne in Mumbai?

whats the room size?
Are you planning have a 1 sub setup or 2? with 2 you get better and more linear bass across the room. The rythmik FV12 with the Servo technology is highly rated. 2 of that would be great. The servo technology is apparently for the HiEnd subs of Rythmik, but also available in this model.

It is clean, tight and goes low. Works great for both movies and music. Super cube can get pretty loud and maybe a little boomy with music....this all i found when I researched multiple forums while looking to get a sub :)

i didnt notice the price difference....900$ for super cube II. I think you should explore other options like Ed, SVS, HSU, Rythmik. This sub is very much comparable to the likes of HSU VTF-2, VTF-3, Rythmik FV12, and a couple of SVS subs. The SVS is a little more pricey. The super cube is like 350$ more than the FV12. I dont think it is 350$ better at all. If it was 50-100$ then different opinions would be valid. You should consider 2 of either VTF2 or FV12. Comes to 1000$.
