Denafrips after-sale experience

Now that Vinshine has parted ways with Denafrips and Headphone Zone is the only point of contact for customers in India, does anyone here know if after-sale enquiries or product support is reliable? A friend of mine is considering bringing back a Terminator 15th from Singapore and is unsure about support.
 
I'd be surprised if Headphone Zone provides service for direct import Denafrips products. They have limited service staff and dont run seem to run service as a profit centre.

If bought in SG, you will probably have to send it back there to get things fixed.

Dont expect the same support as we used to get from Vinshine audio. I had not got any fruitful support from Denafrips technical support team regarding the firmware update on my Terminator. They will just respond to your email in a day or 2. Unlike Vinshine, they are not so keen on you getting your product working as advertised.
 
So far good. My new enyo 15th has some issues and contacted hpz and denafrips. Experience is still positive. Will keep this thread updated.

I bought a Terminator V2 12th Edition recently, It needs to be sent to Singapore 🇸🇬 for Repairs if required AFAIK. Luckily they're built like a tank, I didn't have any issues in last 4yrs with Denafrips Terminator V1.

If the price difference is within 20%, I suggest buy from the Indian distributor and breathe free. With electronics nothing can be said.

Headphonezone, denafrips and I are in contact for this warranty claim. Both parties asked for demo videos and I sent it to them. Denafrips agreed for replacement. But, Headphone zone got my product and is testing it. Now, they are gonna test with some electronic testers to find (if there is any DC output in the rca out) or, if the issue is real. When Denafrips themselves agreed to replace, I don't know why headphone zone takes a different route. Anyways, will keep this thread updated.

That tool was a multimeter. For a company who does service, don’t they have a freaking multimeter lying around?
And, it takes more than 5 days to source a multimeter?
Denafrips told me that if the video shows issue with the product, they will talk to headphonezone to replace it. I have asked this to denafrips and waiting for a reply.
