DIY - My F5

[Blink]

I ended up building my F5, and burns with some minor adjustments, I would strongly recommend this construction, since much has been said of this amplifier, as such I have no more words to define his sound.

A well there is his mentor and long life to present us with more circuits ...

Now that he was thinking about the F6 SemiSouth failed and I can not find the E120R100 ...

I'm thinking of doing the F5 V2 Turbo, but I'm confused entity the V2 and X version that runs on Diyaudio!

I bought the box in ModuShop not bought a box full of parts purchased for greater dissipation.

Thanks, you know the Diyaudio, has some very good pcbs.

I have a Rotel RA-1520 to operate as pr, the F5 is superior to working as Rotel integrated. Very detailed and controlled, already had a PrimaLuna Dialogue 2 and F5 with its 25W is higher. There's something magical about the sound that surprises me, maybe the simplicity of the circuit, and perhaps the purity and synergy of components chosen by papa Nelson Pass.

I put a link of the house where I bought the box, someone erased because infringe some rule, which since I apologize, I understand because I'm also Admin. the best audio Portuguese Forum.

But I can say that I bought for parts to choose the sinks of 16.5 cm, and sent home ModuShop come from Italy.

The board of the PSU is Jims Audio on Ebay, assembly is done by me, the parts in the box is modu.

Very nice build...did you try the any other Pass amp.
if yes how does F5 compare to them.

I think based on speakers & listening habit some consider Aleph J to be better than F5.
