guys, what is the best way to apply shielding in a cdp ? I have a MHZS and according to experts it has got a lot unshielded wires in it. Can Al foil be used for shielding ?

i plan to wrap the cables in a Aluminium foil and ground the foil. There are long ribbon cables carrying digital data between circuit boards (according to experts) , So they adviced me to ' shield and Ground' the wires. Since this requires buying a lot of shielded ribbon cable, was looking for a DIY solution for it .
