I need some advice on a Bluetooth receiver for my Marantz PM6007. I'm torn between the FiiO BR13 and the Auris Blume Pro.

My original idea was to just use the optical out from the bluetooth receiver and let the Marantz's built-in DAC do the work. The FiiO is way cheaper, so it seems like the smarter buy for that setup.

But I'm wondering if the Auris's own DAC is so much better that it's worth the extra money. If I use the Auris's analog output to connect to the Marantz, will I get significantly better detail and a wider soundstage?

I'm looking for your real-world experience here—is the Auris Blume Pro worth the premium?

I have the FIIO BR13 . It does its job in terms of connecting and playing music , but the SQ is very poor and no remote makes it difficult to operate . The FIIO app is not that great . Unless you are on strict budget would not recommend this .

Have not used the other one so cant comment on that . Check out streaming budget options like WIIM

Thanks, How are you connecting this with your system using Optical or RCA connections?

You could look at Topping DX3 Pro+. You would get a full fledged DAC & a HeadAmp along with BT.

Of the two options you mentioned, Fiio would be cost effective.

If you want to stream from your Phone, WIIM Mini also can be a great option as others mentioned.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
