I need some advice on a Bluetooth receiver for my Marantz PM6007. I'm torn between the FiiO BR13 and the Auris Blume Pro.
My original idea was to just use the optical out from the bluetooth receiver and let the Marantz's built-in DAC do the work. The FiiO is way cheaper, so it seems like the smarter buy for that setup.
But I'm wondering if the Auris's own DAC is so much better that it's worth the extra money. If I use the Auris's analog output to connect to the Marantz, will I get significantly better detail and a wider soundstage?
I'm looking for your real-world experience here—is the Auris Blume Pro worth the premium?
