Floorstanding Speakers or Studio Monitors?

My bed's height is about 1 feet from the ground so the tweeter of the speaker are parallel to my ears only

So you are OK with the height;
What about the width ?
Distance from rear wall ?
Sound Stage - basic dimension ?

these speakers are kept together with a width of 46 inches between them, distance from rear wall is 8 inches, if u guys say so I can extend it further.

About sound-stage basic dimension - plz elaborate more about this.

You are most welcome;

Try and place the speakers at least 6 feet apart [too less] - I personally keep my stand mount speakers 7 feet apart. Any distance up to 11 feet is good.
Rear wall distance will help too. At least 15 inches from rear wall - should be good - however, I keep my speakers less than 1 finger space from rear wall - crazy I know, yet it works for me, so I guess what floats your boat, is important.

Try and look to separate the different performers in your musical ensemble, vocals - keyboards - drums - strings etc. all should have a defined space within which they play.
It may take some time, but you will follow - just try and pay some attention when you listen.

Hi Abhishek, in your case you definetely need to buy a pair of decent interconnects between you DVD player and Amplifier, but before that you should think of a dedicated CD player upgrade path to achive the full potential of your setup.

Then try to have your Music in Wav or Flac format and it should also have bit perfect output. At a later stage you can add an external DAC to your setup to have the maximum gain from it.

Listened to some FLAC songs and PSB Image B6 showed me it's TRUE IMAGE in audio quality, I am now hearing to those hidden details in music which I was not able to hear before. :yahoo::clapping:

1. Speakers are very close to each other.

2. Also very close to the rear wall that too being rear ported ones.

2. Speakers placed not on stands but on wooden rack.

You must experiment a lot wrt speaker placement.

Congratulations Abhi.

I guess a lot of people have given good advice to you, you can implement them whenever your finances make it feasible.

However, do experiment before you spend more, see if you can use some temp mechanisms to place them before you invest in stands and brackets and other stuff.

I understand what u r saying, but there is no such room in my room to place my speakers like this. But next year we are gonna convert my 400 sq. ft. hall into Home-theater Hall then may be I will think of getting 5.1 at that time then I will place my speakers well.

I am listening to Trance music, album name is Trancemaster 6009 and the song is Time stands still(Original Mix) - Mark Pledger Feat. Melinda Gareh. Details and Imagine is mind blowing, Feeling myself listening them live. Bass punches are very deep and tight, treble is very sweet and smooth all over the song. Vocals as I want as u all know this well.

I hope u will understand the term imagine i used in, coz couldn't get anyother word to describe

Billie Jean (bass & Treble knob was @ 75% and volume was @ 40-45%, this speaker delivers in wooooooooo very tight bass, sometimes it touches my heart WOW, treble on this speaker is always always smooth watever u song u put on this, Vocals are great as always, very very natural presentation in vocals)

3. Human Nature(Bass and treble knob were @ 75% and volume was 40-45%, loudness was clearly hearable @ main door of my home:lol:hyeah:, bass extension was really really deep with tightness and punchiness was mind blowing. Details are awesome, was clearly listening the lil detail.
4. Thriller
5. Wanna be startin' something
6. Bad
7. I just can't stop loving you
8. Liberian Girl
9. Smooth Criminal
10. The way you make me feel
11. Stranger in Moscow

Then listened to some punjabi songs coz I am punjabi.

Then Came to Enriques greatest hit album(FLAC)

Then came to hindi bollywood songs(320 kbps)

1. Genie Rap - Alladin (Low-end beats and details which caught my attention which this speakers delivers, asI already said vocals are really great in this speaker and treble is very very smooth without even a bit of harshness.
