Getting seconds (Unused) Paradigm Cinema 110 CT and Pioneer AVR for 65k

I am getting Paradigm Cinema 110 CT 5.1 Speakers with Pioneer VSX 921K for 65k . Un Used . Have auditioned .

Please let me know how is the deal .

Is it refurbushed?-- meaning returned to the factory- fixed and repacked?

If so -- it should be at 50% discount-- if not more

Nope. It is new in company pack but never used .

It is second coz, I am not buying from the dealer but the 1st buyer ...... Bill is in the name of the 1st buyer and warranty period is over ...

If it is stuff that has been sitting around for a while- and not stored properly-- You may be in for a real treat or a surprise-- I would ask the person to open the stuff and do a full audition for you

Have auditioned with what ever little know how I have learnt from this portal . There seems to be no issues with the speakers or avr and they are as as good as new .

Why is he selling the stuff? and Why it hasn't been used atall? Be cautious, don't make the full payment at one time. Give 50-60% advance then take it home, get it checked by a knowledgeable person (technician) , use it for long time at a stretch (4-5 hr) then make the rest of the payment.
If the person who is selling the product is genuine, then there should not be any problem in this arrangement.

Thanks Guys . Even I am in doubts now from the questions and feedbacks in the thread . Not worth to save 10-20k on 2nd's specially on electronics . Dropping the idea !!!

How come you auditioned it when it was company sealed? Or do you mean that the owner opened the pack just to give a demo to you?

That sounds fishy. Good that you dropped the idea. I have a simple rule: When in doubt, stay out!
