HDTV temporarily for a couple of years

hi,
i own a Samsung 22'' LCD TV and a PS3.
I have to build a house which includes a home theatre in the basement.
This would take another ~2 years. But i am very impatient to stay quiet for the next 2 years. Hence wanted to buy a 40-42 inch TV for the next 2 years.
I did not want to spend too much of money. Hence boiled down to Panasonic C10 or X10 because it costs 33 - 35k ( which ever is cheaper ).
Once i have my own house, i will transfer this to the HALL for guests and family members. For my home theatre i would then buy a good 50'' TV.
Is something wrong in my thinking or should i wait till i build one house ?

tat seems to be a good plan.. n u can always have the bigger tv for private use..lol

go ahead.. and we got lots of threads for the same u lookin for.. search.. u will get u answer and also let gurus input there opinions.

Seems a good plan. But after two yrs go for a projector. that wil be ideal for HT
