Help in buying a silent split Ac

Why dump yard? I’m confused

Cooling coil corrodes so quick at both the places. My locality is nearby both the places. The service technicians themselves recommend not to buy their ACs in such areas.

Omg! Got it. LG has some paint coated cooling coil. You might try that.

I have tried almost all the mainstream brands exlcuding panasonic, everything failed sooner than expected. I have spent more than what i have paid for the AC, for the service.

The only brand stands longer for me is the ogeneral without any issues. And a Mitsubishi which is 8 months old so cant comment on longevity.

All my ACs are undergoing periodic maintenance on time, in between I too clean them.

I'm in the same boat. Even the best of brands start leaking gas. I have been going for ACs with comprehensive warranty for 5 years or affordable 1+4 year extended warranty/AMC. Earlier it was voltas and now Haier! I know haier would not be on top of anyone's list but in the past year it had one gas leak where they replaced the entire indoor unit coil.
We (me and some of the neighbours) have also tried ACs with blue fin, black fin gold fin what not. Everything corrodes in my area for the same reasons you have mentioned!

After 3 months of repairs my MHI ac is working again. What a relief.

Inatalled LG. Definitely silent. I guess silent than MHI. The MHI trumps lg in quick cooling of the room. But with the same temperature, LG is bit more cooler. Also, the room temperature according to lg remote drops more than 2 degrees compared to the set temperature.
The service of LG was okay. Was polite. Did the leaking test only after insisting. No vacuum pump was used like mhi too. They destroyed the thermocol from the AC packing. Hmm.
But the final service of mhi was extremely impresive. Just than the service person for mhi in my zone is not good.
