:cool:dear friends ,

I am searchin for a good 5.1 for my PC. it is for listening musics and watching movies. After lot of browsings I found Onkyo HT-S3200. is it good for music. My room size is 14ft* 10ft. My budget is 20,000 - 25,000
thanks
Rakesh.............

Get a Logitech Z5500 for around 18k + a Xonar DX sound card for 4.5k.....spend a day or two tweaking the bass and it should really please u.

z5500 is decent but its not futureproofed in the sense that if you want to get new speakers youd have to get a full new avr, in that case the s3100 for 18-20 and s3200 for 22k+ is better value for money in any scenario, you can even catch an s3100 for as low as 14k as I found/bought. the s3100 and 3200 have fully loaded avr's that can drive large speakers easily even though the one supplied at htib speakers.

sub in z-5500 is biggest of all.. not base tight as philips for its thx and the sub outperforms in movies anything in that range.. however no future upgradibilty..

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
