How does canvas work over treatment?

Have a small room, 9-10 feet from LCRs to back wall.
I know I need some kind of broadband treatment on that wall, but can I drape them in canvas?
Has anyone tried it?

Canvas is not a broadband absorber. It also isn't acoustically transparent. You need 2 inches thick Rockwool of 100kg/m3 (or higher) draped in Cora, or Muslin, and then hooked onto your walls for any broadband absorption. A frame around it will keep Rockwool neatly tucked in.
Canvas, at most, will soften the edges a wee bit.
