i5 with 3GB or i3 with 4GB?

I'm stuck between these 2 laptop configurations:

Intel Core i3-2310M
4G DDR3 1333 MHz
640G 9.5mm 5400rpm
Metallic Grey / Nvidia GeForce GT 520M DDR 3 1GB Graphics / 15.6 HD LED Glare

and


Intel Core i5-2410M
Bluetooth 2.1 /
3G DDR3 1333 MHz
640G 9.5mm 5400rpm
Nvidia GeForce GT 520M DDR 3 1GB Graphics / 15.6 HD LED Glare

Which one will work better? And which will consume less power? (since its a laptop power is an issue)

Any help regarding this appreciated. Both from Lenovo.

i5 any day. You can upgrade ram to 8gb in less than 3K.

Get a better processor i.e. i5. RAM you can upgrade later also but process is generally a 1 time deal.
