Import fee on purchase of Blueray player from Amazon CA

Hi,
Need a clarification. When we tried to purchase any item from Amazon USA it is showing shipping and import
fees separately but in case of Anazon CANADA it showing delivery fees only .
We need to pay import fee separately . Please clarify.
Iam looking for a Blueray player.

If you buy from overseas customs duty will apply 42%, the problem is customs will decided total value of your items, than apply duty 42% from value. Some cases customs duty will higher than you item actual value. Shipping via international couriers such a DHL, Fedex & UPS customs duty will more higher. Note: If you buying electronic item form overseas there will no warranty cover in India. Shipping via postal service duty will less. Better you buying in India.

No online players? None of the e comm sites, please check all... Also check Croma reliance digital tatacliq type sites... Otherwise specialised dealers like hifimart?

There are dealers in Chennai who are selling Blu Ray and 4K UHD players. I got a 4K player couriered recently from there. Would be a cheaper option than buying from Amazon and shipping it to India.
