Is it worth upgrading from denon 3600 to marantz av processor 7705

Hi all I'm confused ,is it worth considering going for marantz av processor 7705.currently i have denon 3600.
Using it with power amplifier 2.1.2
2 channel 200 w lr
1 channel for centre 200 w
2 ch for surrond 100 w
Currently running 7.1.2 setup
Please advise give your valuable opinion.

One of my friend moved to 7705 recently. He used Marantz 6012 and 8012 prior. He said the improvements where very good with the separations and over all sound stage way better then avr.

Upgrade to dedicated processor is always better. Go for it.. with good room and well calibrated setup will elevate the experience to new levels.

Marantz AV7705

I can get a new AV7705 with full 3 year warranty for $1547.00 from a dealer. I will never game and plan to use this with a Sony 83" A90J on a 6.2 system. Is this still worth it as it is discontinued ? Here is my system. I have a Marantz AV7005 now and am using a Parasound HCA-1205A and...

Do you already use your 3600 as a processor only, since you have additional power fed in?
