Is this the best TV in the 40000 range?

go 4 samsung 32 " full hd c 550 model only lcd RS 36000 ,plays all formats ,cheap than sony .still further cheap is 32 " samsung 32c 530 only for rs 31500.full hd.

Dont buy led tvs.
They r all edge lit led not true led. When u will use pure hd source for viewing led as compared to lcd hardly makes such difference.
Lg 9500 is only pure led for rs 95000.so go for samsung lcd .may be c630 series is good.

I am using a sammy 32c630. PQ is good and it plays most of the formats from USB.
There is another thread about Sony EX720 model. Check it and make your decision.
From the MRP, you should get some discount.

I personally don't prefer any of the above, but ex720 is a 3D TV. I would have a look at it before finalising. c630 is a better option within the given budget if not sony ex720.

The samsung 32c5000 LED is around 43K but w/o 100Hz Motion Plus.
I have gone for c630 coz of USB capability, 100Hz and more brightness (2,00,000:1).

If you get a chance of auditioning ex-520 and c630 side by side, you are good to make the best decision out of your mind.

Cheers,
Siva

The EX720 via grey market should be your best bet or wait for the samsung D5000.

If you want a CCFL lcd then the samsung c630 is a good option or the Sony EX500

Re: 46" or 47" LED TV....Help, is LG47LE4600 Good!
LG have launched their new range of TV's for 2011.

The New LV5500 120 Hz LED HDTV with Smart TV Series

LG55LV5500 LG 55LV5500
LG47LV5500 LG 47LV5500
LG42LV5500 LG 42LV5500

The New LG LV3700 60 Hz LED HDTV with

LG42LV3700 LG 42LV3700
LG55LV3700 LG 55LV3700

I just wanted to know that whether it is justified to pay the extra amount for the 3D feature?

^ I am not sure howmuch of that 3d feature going to help on 32 inch tv?, I'd atleast go for a 50" if I was looking for 3d feature.

Whether one would pay the premium for 3D,well atleast i wouldn't.
You still have to buy 3d glasses plus the lack of 3d content doesn't help.

Lastly i am no fan of wearing glasses whether its the active shutter glasses in samsung/sony or passive glasses in LG.

The EX720 series does have motionflow ,its one of the cheaper 2011 lcds ,its nearest rival is the samsung D6000 which is more expensive.
32" EX720 costs 45k in grey which i feel is still expensive for a 32".

A 40" CX520 costs 43k in grey which is better deal for a budget of around 40k or a samsung D550 a bit more.

The D5000 is also a good model, but you may have to watch out for samsung panel lottery.

In samsung there Smart Tvs are better value, they have a web browser which supports flash and java enabled and also have many other applications.
The smart tv range start with the D5500 series
The 100hz clear motion rate in the samsung D5000/5500 series isn't the same as last years, this year it uses backlight scanning.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
