Over the past 9 years I've been making speaker cables from the M22759/11-8; these are stiff yet flexible cables. The finish I've worked on consistantly over the years. I must say there's nothing I've heard better, having taken in Transparent Audio cables in part exchange it's a testiment to their qualities. I noticed there are several on here who have experimented with the 12 and combo's of 12+12+14 AWG wires (Eq to 8). These wires are relatively inexpensive next to the so called highend audio offerings, I'd like to know if those of you who have run the combo set(s) have twisted the wires (braided) or run in as is, how have you dressed them and what terminations have you tried? I have a few prototype running tinned mil spec twisted 20 guage for high frequencies and have had positive feedback for those also. I am always looking for new and improved designs :)

Hi Nordicaudio,
I am using the exact 12+12+14 awg mil spec silver plated wire and each leg is twisted gently. They are terminated with cardas spade. The hot and cold should not touch each other if possible for maximum transparency. After using this combination now for over 3+ years there is no looking back. Nothing comes close - yes I have tried Belden and Nordost in the interim and it was easy to scrap them.

All the best for your adventure.
