Marantz 2225

Hi,
I have owned the Marantz 2225 since I bought it off ebay about 10 years ago. I have listened to many many amplifiers from the budget Tripaths to well known brands like Aragon, Mcintosh etc but there is something extremely musical in this amplifier which I really like. It is rated at just 25 w/ch but is awesome in a nearfield setup and has till date even driven some mighty floorstanders to decent levels. It hasn't been repaired once. All this makes it the most amazing amp I have ever owned

I would totally agree with you. Owned different amps / AVRs in the past and finally got the chance to own a Marantz last year....the performance and depth is awesome and that's what landed me to buy another one. I have 2 now. Marantz puts music first when they build their products and I guess that is what brings out the best in their products. I am sure not everyone will agree with my view which is based on personal experience...everyone has their own choices and views....this is mine.
