Marantz PM-6007 right channel a bit muffled and less open than left on speakers and headphone

Dont send your amps to MZ audio service Centre in Mumbai... They don't repair , but replace components and then SQ goes for a toss

PM7001 - it was in protect mode . Repaired / Replaced DAC . Its playing now , but Treble is gone from the sound . Just pure bass

PM8005 - I was a getting a Huge Speaker Thump while switching off the amp . So to protect my speakers , I decided to give it for repair . Again same story , Amp board repaired or replaced and Treble is gone and just loads of bass .

Unfortunately I gave both together .

Not sure , I am assuming he must used some local cheap components instead of using original Marantz . I now have a Marantz PM11S2 which needs to be repaired , but after my exp with MZ , cant go to them and not getting any body else .

So finally got Norge and WIIM Amps (instead of Marantz Model M1) and have decided to stay away from Marantz in future .
My PM5005’s right channel started sounding a bit muffled — something only I seemed to notice, on speakers as well as on headphones. I took it to MZ Audio, they replaced the IC, and the original sound came back. Feels like I got lucky with them!

I sourced the op-amp myself from RS components and delivered it to him.7 op-amps cost me 5130Rs(each 732 rs).Am not sure if what RS components sold me is fake.View attachment 88334
Hi,
And what happends on the end of this story? Did you repair your PM6007? I have a problem with my PM6007 amplifier... The left channel is sometimes dead, but just in case I turn on the "filter" mode. In source direct mode everything funkctionig perfect.
