Thanks all for your valuable answers but still I'm confused why I can't use the sub with stereo amp.
Can you explain me how my amp will shutdown if I connect to the subwoofer. Then what is the purpose of speaker level input in the subwoofer. I even had a chat with SVS team(below), they said there wont be any issues if you connect the marantz amp with SB1000 through speaker level input. If I can connect with SB1000 then why not with Taga Sw 10 v2. ?(as another dealer suggested, it can't be connected with taga sub)
Thanks,
Subbiya
Oh wait, I was still refering to the Mission sub you mentioned earlier which did not have Speaker Level inputs. Which Taga sub are you talking about? Does it have speaker level inputs? If it does, then there should be no problem at all. in connecting the Amp to the sub. Use a cable splitter to split the pairs of cable going to the speaker and to the sub. This if the Sub does not have Speaker Out. If the Sub has Speaker level Input and Output then connections are even easier and more reliable(lesser chances of shorting).
