I am sure Big TV is doing some conversion because of which such ghosting is coming. It could be as simple as setting the interlaced input flag or incorrect source framerate set at Big TV's end.
Such ghosting was never an issue on Dish TV and only sound was getting distorted as indicated before. Also, Sun DTH users didn't complain of any issue other than the watermark.
To be more precise it is more like motion trail, have you checked recently, in rdtv i got this channel a week ago. rdtv guys are saying movies now guys accepted it as their problem, also they told me they have other dth boxes with them
Movies Now still has a terrible audio. It keeps emitting quite some noise, which I think is because of clipping at their end. I am afraid it'll damage my expensive speakers.
Are other people also experiencing this problem?
I am glad I have just disconnected my STB due to this issue... While I was very much interested in watching Movies Now.. Audio clipping kept me so fumed that Dish TV can not even set the volume right and disable equalization.. Mostly its the .1 subwoofer sound which creates most of the problem and I am positive that is a Dish TV issue rather than Movies Now... They really are big JERKS. Their Senior Operations Manager promised to fix this issue within 24 hours more than 2 months back!
I too wrote emails to the customer service about this problem. I am not sure why they call me back on this issue when my emails amply explain everything there is to this issue. Anyways... they told me to reset all settings on my STB in-spite of me shouting that all other channels are fine, so it can't possibly an issue with my STB settings.
I too suspect that it's related to mixing levels for surround channels (including LFE) being too high. I wrote that as well to them by email.
I have started suspecting whether they understand english
They don't even have access to the DETAILED emails we write!!!
