Hi Folks,
I have been wanting to build a ported box with bow-tie port design ever since I saw a flat pack from JL Audio. My main design goals being:
* Flat response atleast till 30-35Hz (as this would be primarily used as a car sub)
* Good group delay (tighter bass).
* Compact enough to fit boot of a car(this unfortunately is not exactly true in my case
)
* Acceptable port velocity.
* Utilize existing driver (GTO804).
With these goals in mind, modeled the enclosure first in WinISD and then went on to tweaked (converted to bow-tie) it in Hornresp. Attached is some of the build pictures. The box is far from finished, it needs some kind of finish either in the form of carpet or paint.

Thanks,
