Need help in chosing an projector+powerbackup solution.

Hi Guys,
Can somebody suggest me an good power solution for an Hitachi projector (Model CPRX-70) which is to be utilisied in villages.
can this type of projectors be connected directly with an honda generator ?
if yes which models and with what ratings do u recommend ?
any sugestions for it ??

Hi,

I'm not good at these, but in my opinion you shouldn't directly connect the PJ to the generator, but instead power PJ from UPS and connect the UPS to generator. Not all UPSs work well with generator, so make sure that the one you chose works fine. You can check other threads wherein the UPS rating was discussed for PJs and calculate the one you require and based on that calculate the generator rating on the basis of UPS's requirements.

Generator>UPS>Projector.

I would recommend Numeric 1KVA UPS. I works fine with generator (tested it myself), and more than enough for the projector as well.
