Need suggestions of Subwoofer and surrounds for Yamaha rxv585

Hi,

From past year I am looking to buy AV receivers and speakers I checked dealers and took demos of denon 1700h , Yamaha A2 etc. But due to chip shortage and various other reasons prices rised a lot

Luckily one of my friend upgrading his system from 5.12 to 7.2.4. so I grabbed his Yamaha Rxv585 and BIC AMERICA VENTUR BOOKSHELF(LCR) AND CENTER CHANNEL 6.5"

I am looking for good subwoofer , surround speakers, selected one from taga harmony 12", mission 12".

Can anyone suggest which one to go with or else can you suggest any other which can sound good in budget range.

Taga and mission are good. Check klipsch 120sw for sub.

You can get any cheap surround option and add a good sub. Write down your budget too.

I had RX-V585 and was using below speakers(in 5.1 config) with it. Very happy with the setup.
Wharfedale Diamond 230 - Front L/R
Wharfedale Diamond 220C - Center
NHT super zero - Surround L/R
Wharfedale D10 - Subwoofer

You can also look at BIC subs. There is one for sale in the classified section

You cannot go wrong with Yamaha N-SW300.. the only sub which can go below 20hz at that price point.. performs decently for both movies & music.

in dilemma between POLK hts 10' and taga harmony 212 se to consider. There are other two jbl stage a100p and elac 10.2 but I don't know about there performances.

I kept volume fully, phase 0°, crossover 80.
Connected by Amazon basics cable LfE in(subwoofer) to Yamaha rxv585 subwoofer preout (1).

Yamaha speaker configuration:

Front, left speakers set to <small>
Subwoofer <Use>
Phase< normal>


Please help me.

Wharfedale Diamond 230 - Front L/R
Wharfedale Diamond 220C - Center
NHT super zero - Surround L/R
Wharfedale D10 - Subwoofer

I changed my FrontLeft/Right to W.diamond 230.
Shifted present BIC bookshelf to rear surround.
