Hi Rob here- a new member to this forum.
I have a Lenco GL75 which I want to do some work on during lockdown.
Luigi at RetroTone has suggested a new plinth is a good starting point.
So would welcome all the help you can give me on this project.
Back in the '70's I strove for stereo sound but only had my parents Dansett player.
So decided to replace cartridge & rewire to Rotel integrated stereo amp, made my own speaker cabinets & used Goodmans Din 20 (bought from Comet) and that was the start of my HI-Fi quest.
I now have LP12 / Cambridge Audio cxa60/ Monitor Audio Silver series floorstands. Which is an improvement on the Dansett!
So do drop a line with your suggestions on where to start on the GL75 re-firb.

Welcome to the forum Rob. Nice to see an international member. UK is a great place for Hifi and specially turntables and vinyl.

The Lenco you got is legendary and we have quite a few forum members here with extensive experience with the L75s.

Sharing some discussion links that we have had here:

L75 Plinth Build
Lenco Rebuild
Lenco Build
Plinth Build
Lenco replinthed with Thomas Schick

This will catch some quick attention from the Lenco Gurus shortly.

Cheers!
