There are too many options. You're going to have to share some sort of budget if you want some proper recommendations.

Is that $1000 for JUST the turntable or does it need to include the cartridge, the cabling, the phono stage as well? What are the other parts of the system you already have in place?
Dranil, we are not aware what is available in Dubai. If you can enquire locally and give us a list of what is available, people like Shaizada can the shortlist the best for you. TheKinge may be able to help you as he has browsed most of the shops in Dubai. Last few times I have visited, I have never seen any unit on display.
Of course, being in Dubai, you can order online and get it delivered to your place. In which case the whole world is open to you.

Alternatively you can look for the Blue Note TT's... they are available in India with tonearm + Rondo Red Cartridge for about Rs 50,000/-
If they are available in Dubai, you'll get em a lot cheaper!

I am thinking of buying one online.
Please recomend one (TT and catridge) coming around 1000 dollars.
I am using Onkyo 3007 amp and Klipsche RF 83 speakers.

I'd recommend these:
1. Look at the Project Catalogue, Both the RPM and the Expression have a turntable in your price range.
2. Try Music Hall and Rega
3. You'll get brand new Technics 1200 and 1210's in your budget.

Clearaudio concept Turn table?
How they compare with Pro-ject RPM5 ?

i dont have experience of the Clearaudio concept TT...
But i do use the Clearaudio Ambient.... Before the Ambient I was using the Pro-ject 2 xperience, plus I have heard an RPM 5 for hours at an acquaintance's place....
So in a way i have sampled offering from both the manufacturers....
I'd say, overall the sonics of both company differ.
Between the 2 xperience and RPM 5 I prefer the 2 xperience...more open sound, tonally balanced... the RPM was very nice too but 'dark'....
The Clearaudio TT's are tonally the most correct.
If I were you, i'd go for the concept in a trice!
