Not happy with BASS of TAGA TAV 606 SE

Have you checked if the front speakers are set to Large? This is very important.....infact you should set all speakers to LARGE.

Increase the Bass and Treble settings accordingly.....

If there is no subwoofer selected in AVR,front will be 'Large' automatically.

I hv the same problem with my yamaha avr, everytime i need to change to hdmi 2 to get sound but picture is visible evn without changing.. Any solution? anybody?

If you have two hdmi out from avr, one with ARC or first hdmi out, will act as Master (i don't know if this terminology is correct). Check whether you are able to play music from front USB of AVR without putting the display (TV in your case) to on. In this case, Its the hdmi settings that needs to be adjusted.

You just need to switch HDMI control to off in settings if you are not using ARC or ip scaler.
In yamaha avr it is not in settings menu as far as I remember, it'll be in the options menu, on the right side in remote .
This should rectify your problem
