Hey Folks,

I recently purchased LG G5 55" and need recommendations for below doubts.

1. "OLED Pixel Brightness" is set to 100 by default. I felt its very bright also I remember keeping it to higher value is not good for longer run. I played around a bit and set it to 85. Is 85 a good number of should I reduce further? I also tried, "Power saving option" but that sometime i feel very dull while watching dull or dark movies. What do you suggest for longer run?
2. I have a Voltas stabiliser for 55" but the technician who came suggested to go for UPS. Im in a apartment and sometimes there will be fluctuation during DG cutover.

Apart from these 2, any more suggestion to keep the tv for longer run.

I am using a c9 65 inch LG Oled for more then 4 years directly connected to wall socket. IMO Tv does not require any ups or voltage stabiliser unless there is major issues with your power supply. For HDR and Dolby vision contents the oled brightness should be set to 100 for best performance

Our apartment is about 15 years old and we have some series issues where there is no power in all 3 phases :( Its not frequent though but when it happens it flickers a lot, like the power come and goes every second.

Ah good one. I don't have a DTH or a cable connection, only OTT via Apple TV, i set apple TV display to Dolby Vision. I will play around by increasing the brightness.

I too have a 65" C9 since 2020 and have been using a APC UPS with it. Infact I started using UPS with my first LED in 2011 and have been continuously using since then. BTW there is some power fluctuations in our area.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
