Output Transistors Help

Hi HiFi vians,

I would request your help in procuring two pairs of output transistors as below :-

1.) 2SC3182 and
2) 2SA1265.

I know these are available from sites outside India, but being based out here in Assam, I dont want to risk courier / customs etc. If anyone has some for sale or if you could direct me to a site / organization selling these in India I would be grateful.

There are lots of fakes of those discontinued Toshiba TO3Ps floating around. If you have the space in your cabinet, consider replacing them with Toshiba TTC5200 and TTA1943, which are current production and available in a larger package (T0-264 or similar).

For TO3P substitutes, look at Toshiba 2sc5242/2sa1962 or 2sc5198/2sa1941, which is second-sourced by a number of Chinese manufacturers, including Magnatec.

Yes. forget them. 5200/1943 are good substitutes. available for RS.100 a pair.
