Hi,

I have taga harmony 606 v3. They are 6 ohms. Now i am planning to add 2 more bookshelf speakers.

1. Can i pair 4 or 8 ohms speakers with existing 6 ohm speakers?
2. Can i pair different wattage speakers?
3. I dont have any idea on crossovers.

You can pair 6& 8 ohms safely Depending on you amp. 4 ohms speakers are difficult to drive and you need low impedence drive capability in your amp, which are usually I high end avr.

Yes you can pair different rating speakers allowed by your receiver on different channels on the receiver, not same. For example, you cannot connect two different rating speakers to just your centre channel without calculating the final impedance.

Check your receiver manual if it can take 4ohm speakers. Most modern ones cannot.
