Player for Zidoo Z9X Pro

Hi All,

I have recently got Zidoo Z9X Pro to play contents from my HDD. I am confused which player I should use to play media ( in bult app Home Theatre 4.0) from my hdd. Whether inbuilt Zidoo’s player is best or Kodi is the best yo get best AV effects.

Requesting to help me clear out the confusion.

No need to install 3rd party apps for offline content. Inbuilt player is excellent and you can use the most of the functions in remote control.

Yeah, HT4 player is good enough, for kodi you need to install a modified version (its called ZDMC), i guess its too much of a hassle, havent tried it myself though.

Also, follow these recommended settings for the player.

I purchased from US (my friend was coming back) , it’s almost 50% less the price in India I.e for around 20k
Option 2 is from Amazon Japan costs you approx 30k including shipping n customs.
Or the last option is from melody media

The Z9x will not natively stream from OTT Apps. You'll have to install a separate GApp set first and then install apps. Too fiddly. These players are meant for offline files, and not streaming. For offline file playback these players are really good.

I had very bad experience from them. They are like goons.
I ordered speaker. In the website it was shown delivery in 4-6 days.
I waited for one week, they didn't even ship. Sent a mail - no response.
Contacted through Whatsapp, after one or two days they responded saying that there will be delay in shipping.
I waited another one week. Wrote a negative review on Google Map. Then they called and asked me to delete the review.
I said I will delete once they refund the money. Then he started threatening me. He said that he will not give back the money unless I delete the review!
I have the call recording.
