I recently came across on how to do this while browsing and I want to share it with you.
As you know, your 4k HDR TV will not play youtube HDR video in HDR on most current TV's. There is a simple workaround for it. Play the video on your smartphone or tab and chromecast it to the TV. Youtube will now play your HDR video's in HDR and this can be confirmed by the HDR notification when you go into your picture settings. One more step though. Your TV will not automatically change the picture mode to HDR in this case so you will have to go into your picture mode and change it to HDR 10 or such, from Auto mode. Also note. Not all videos on youtube that says HDR in it's title is HDR. Please confirm from your picture settings.
That's it. Now you can show off your TV to your friends by playing some great demo HDR videos on youtube.
