Post your latest AV purchase(s)......

Just replace the device altogether and put an audiophile switch otherwise. Much bigger gains.
I have that too. Idea was to remove any SMPS between isp provided router and my system and this completes the goal. This one is powering the isp provided router that cannot be replaced.

I upgraded my entire system. Was never the plan but just couldn't resist after hearing the diff in the demo from my old setup.

Bought myself the Amphion Argon 3LX speakers + Canor Virtus A3 integrated amp + All cables from furutech.
Also purchased some thick 5" panels from Timber acoustics.

Am yet to move to my new house (Next month first week) and am literally counting days to set up my system.

Got a Samsung 65QN70F NeoQLED from Reliance digital. It seems a new series is being launched 70H. They had a last piece and got the deal for 95.6k.

Was comparing it with LG QLED Sony Bravia 3& TCL C6K. Liked Samsung.. Had actually gone to deno Bravia as I was keen on getting a Sony only, Unfortunately Bravia 3 had very dull brightness compared to all the four ..
TCL was better in few points but that Brand loyalty n service reviews got me to buy Samsung only.

Congratulations ! In a showroom, chances are that they may tweak and keep the best possible settings for a brand that favour their profitability.
Serviceability and warranty are other important factors for consideration which you seem to have already researched.

Do you mean to say that Samsung is still better over TCL.

Any brand will have pros and cons and you may hear good and bad experiences from most of the brands. All I am saying is that Showroom's displaying various brands need not tell you the true story.

Samsung is a more premium brand as compared to TCL. BTW, I too watch on a Samsung Led TV and so far no issues since 3 odd years.

Didn't accept the delivery. Changed my mind. And got 65 LGQNED8XA6A Mini LED. Samsung was a little hurry burry purchase, the reliance guy said it's last piece and new series is coming up so.. But auditioned LG n TCl again compared with Samsung the next day.. before the delivery could by done.. 😁😁

LG n TCL : Both are Mini LED .

LG : More features, Air magic mouse, Ai tech n alpha8 processing, found these better. Facial tones were better n overall scenes didn't look washed look like Samsung QNED. Content looked more vibrant. Tried watching Animated series too. Looked great on it. Alpha A8 processor, Ai picture setup n magic remote also a ++ on this.

TCL: Similar to LG minus the Ai features n overall little less vibrant compared to LG. HD playback n skin tones look best on this TV. Samsung shows smoothened face tones n sharpness n separation was not there.

SAMSUNG: 4K content played great on the In-Store Demo videos , you tube 4k videos etc.
But it failed to deliver like TCL (especially ) in HD n DTH Content . There was lot of whites in viewing compared to the other 2 Tvs.

Reliance Digital had to get an approval from HO n thankfully they accepted my request n cancelled the previous order. I had to pay the difference of approx 4K to get the LG. (100600 + 1299 convience charges).

Now satisfied.. finally
😀😀. Will get the delivery tomorrow.

Reliance Sales guy said LG service will either provide the Table stand or wall mount. . Any inputs or experience on this would be great.

Will be getting the delivery tomorrow.

That's a nice streamer, would love to know how it sounds compared to other streamers you had/heard.

Hello, :)

Yes for me, when compared to the Node I was able to hear a hugee difference in terms of the overall performance.
Firstly, it made me realise (in a way taught me) that a blacker background plays a bigg big role when a system is expected to perform well at low SPL levels.

I had always missed this in mine,
a mistake I made initially was I bought speakers (Focal Chora 826) too big for my 11x13 bedroom. I sit 8-9 feet away once the speakers are pulled out 18-24 inches from the rear wall. In hindsight, that combination required higher playback levels to sound engaging. After 6-7 years of living with this, I upgraded my entire system.

However, after switching to the MA TT1, the same system started revealing detail even at low volumes. The sense of silence between notes improved significantly, and micro-detail retrieval became much more apparent by the transport design—clean power implementation, low-noise regulation, and better signal integrity.

I noticed
- details emerging from pin drop silence
- improved separation
- better-defined transients (especially in bass)
- more refinement overall

What stood out most was that this was achieved without changing the rest of the system.
Trust me I never thought only a streamer could make such a diff to my system, so much so it made me think that I might as-well could have picked up the Matrix Audio NT-1 for a even bigger upgrade ;).
(I only invested in a streamer thinking I need to get the source right for my Amphion + Canor combo and Node is not up to the mark for the same).

Given how well it performed even with my previous setup, I expect it to scale further with a more resolving chain like the Amphion + Canor combination.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with the upgrade. It delivered a level of improvement I did not expect from a streamer alone.

Last but not the least the build quality does not get any better in this price range.
