PS3 - How to divert only Audio?

I have connected my PS3 slim to my SONY NX500 using HDMI cable. I am not impressed with the audio output from the TV.

I have a LG player with impressive speakers which has AV IO ports.

I would like to configure this way,

VIDEO = Using HDMI, from PS3 to TV
AUDIO = Using AV cable, from PS3 to LG player

How to achieve this?

PS: When I tried redirecting using the supplied AV cable, my LG just gave noise....nothing else :sad:

Hi,
In the Audio output settings, you can select the output ie;either you can choose hdmi,optical or regular av without changing the Video output settings.

You can also enable "Audio Multi-Output" (sets to output audio through multiple connectors simultaneously)

Thanks guys for your help! It works when I change the audio out settings to AV out or multi-out.
