I purchased a PV8 around last October and am very satisfied by it. As it is going to near 1 year of purchase, I'm wondering if I should go for an extended warranty.
While I'm satisfied with the tv's performance itself, I'm a bit dissapointed by the information they have on their website regarding support. Support appears to be spotty. There is one local Chennai number and toll free number on their website that is always busy and I get a recorded message in (presumably) Tamil. Looks like they have one call center person for the whole country.
Have people gone for extended warranty for PV8?
I'm thinking of a second tv (at my parent's home in Mumbai) and Panny is a serious contender but I have reservations regarding their support. I don't konw whether other vendors are much better.
