Safe to buy a b-stock receiver?

Saw this deal in Global Ebay which sells Yamaha RX-V667 for 28K, but the catch is, it is b stock. I have a 1000 Rs discount coupon, so it's quite tempting to get this.

But I'm hesitant to go ahead as I'm afraid I can't do anything if the receiver turns out to be a faulty piece or DOA.

You can get brand new for 36k with B&W.

I was actually planning to get Denon 1611, so buying this receiver for 36K stretches my budget quite a bit. If not for this b-stock, I have my eyes on another new piece in GEB for 30K after discount. Adding 2.5K for step down transformer, I'll get a 667 for 33K.

I'm so confused Also the lowest price I was given in Chennai is 37K.

Look @ amazon or other websites , try get it thru aramex you may find it cheaper.

That's a good question. 5K doesn't seem a big stretch in my budget, but 9 K looks like it

Been looking there too. Borderlinx quoted 30K for buying from Amazon. I'm not sure if I get this for less than 30K through any other option. Or may be I'll save some money and go for local buy.

Now this is 23K in Global ebay. A new one is for 26.6K. Shall I take the risk and bite the bullet?

If product is a Demo piece with good care & tested totally before putting on ebay,can be better buy.If repaired ,risky.

I don't think if there is any way to check it. There is a new piece selling for 26.6K in GEB. I think buying this would be less risky.
