samsung UA40D6000 vs Panasonic plasma 42v20

I curently have a Panasonic plasma 42v20 bought in the following thread...

I saw the Samsung UA46D6600 and liked it quite a bit...
i just wanna compare the two its little brother:
Samsung UA40D6000 and the TV I currently have...
Is it a wise upgrade ? my primary useage is PC gaming and HD movie...not that the pana is short in anything so far,,,,I dont know why I liked the Samsung...
They had the panny and the samsung LED on display...the LED seemed brighter and more vivid...i didnt get time to play with the settings though

I would really like some inputs..in comparing the two...

Thats were panny leads LED in terms of response time. If you love gaming and movies then panny is best. All others look good on showroom when HD videos only are played on them.
