Should i buy arphi super challenger speakers for 1500 or 2000

Should I buy these arphi super challenger speakers for 2000.

They would be at least 30 years oild.
They would have been already reconed or you would have to get them reconed most likely.
So please check.

The cones are in perfect condition, but I have a doubt that will they produce the same sound as earlier

I am still using my Arphi super challenger speakers (in front) in my HT setup with Yamaha RX V671 and they still sound amazing. I bough them in Mumbai (then Bombay) in 1992. Nothing has been changed/replaced/modified with these speakers.

Ask the seller to share pics of the speakers without the grills on.......I am sure most of us who have used Arphi will be able to spot if they look reconed or not. Share those pics here...

Should I buy these arphi super challenger speakers for 2000.

Old is Gold I have a pair of Arphi Super Challenger Speakers since 36 years not used them for about 22 years but will be in good condition. difficult for me to transport from Bombay to Delhi. Their sound was really excellent, i am looking forward to replace those speakers with the silk dome Tweeters and the bass and mid range too(suggestions most welcome), lets see what best i can do. i had visited their demonstration lab at charni road east walking distance from the station. good demonstration room in that era

i just purchased a Cambridge Integrated Amplifier Azur 650A absolutely simple amplifier no Bluetooth, Hdmi, Wifi, Optical, Rj 45(internet), Just only RCA connectors, excellent sound from this device.
