Hi All,

I just decided to buy a CA 340A in the process of building my first stereo setup.
I'm very very restricted on budget :(

Has anyone heard the Sonodyne Sonus 1501 ?

( Home Audio > Sonus Series )

Specs look good and the price is around 8.5K INR which is very attractive and fits my budget of 10K INR for speakers.

Please suggest.

( Any other speaker suggestion's are welcomed )

Thanks in advance

Need your listening room size. For CA 340A, MS902i bookshelf speaker and wharfedale 9.1 or 9.2 bookshelf speakers will work very well and these speakers also a award winner and very good VFM.

Mordaunt Short 902i Rs.14000/-

Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 Rs.12000/- to Rs.13000/-

Amps and speakers from Sonodyne .
Shrill, cloudy, muddy are some the words that comes to mind.. There is a bedsheet correction a wool blanket between you and the music:mad:

I agree with Cranky. The 540A is good VFM amp. Decent.

Oh noe first time I'm hearing something negative about the 340A SE,getting even more confused.

Actually my biggest problem is my budget

So how's NAD C315BEE compared to 340A SE ( I was planning to 340A SE )?

Actually this will my first stereo and don't have much in-depth knowledge to avoid myself from not bagging a good deal on a used product,so looking for new stuff only.

Can I get a comparision of NAD C315BEE vs CA340A SE ?

(Choice of music : Rock , Fusion , Jazz ) (Love tight & fast bass )

Thanks to all for all the info and helping me make the right choice.

I think I'll increase my budget to 20K for the amp.I can get a 540A V2 for 20K INR.How will that be ?

( Anyone heard Jamo E350 ) ?

Thanks

Go for it :)
Avoid Jamo unless you are looking at their top of the line. Go for a pair of morduant shorts or wharfedales if your budget is low.
