Sony BDV-E870

Hi guys
I am planning to purchase Sony BDV-E870 but after reading a lot of threads it seems that onkyo ht-s3300 is the choice of the people.

Could you guys please help in choosing the sytem?

Which Product should i go with?
I need a product which would give me high quality sounds for movies and powerful Bass.

Any help will be appreciated.

Being owner of onkyo 3300 certainly better than sony. I audiotioned it in showroom...bass is tiny and sound is raw. Sound in onkyo is clear and bass is overwhelming. But you have to choose 3d bluray player seperately.

The suggestion will be to drop your plan for buying HTIB. Instead buy Amp + Speakers

Search on this forum for Denon 1610/11 + Jamo/Wharfedale that will be better choice. You might end up paying between 40-50k
