Since participants are limited and grouped & already aware of Venue, changing the title is not necessary, since already changed twice from previous one to present. NO MORE AUDIENCE..

Yep.. The task this time is simple like keen listening and deciding your stereo setup
in an almost dedicated room setup.There is major presence of key players/dealers in the audiophile market were showcasing their top end/ budget product under one roof, it will be an fun to listen those systems.
Of course whoever wish can come early to lend their hands in unloading / safeguarding / installing / demonstrating the dealers systems. The possible help from our end can be fruitful when you are plunging to buy the showcased systems.

I am relatively newly to this forum and also to these Audio meet but was keen to attend this meet either with my family\friend.
I was under the impression:
Participants - Those who already have a Stereo setup and will be showcasing it in the meet and will look to upgrade if needed.
Audience -People like me who are relatively new to this Hifi stuff but have a strong interest to create their own setup in the near future.
In other words, this year's audience can be participants next year, Please correct me if I have misunderstood this concept.

Hi Naren,
Welcome here.
As per plan A, earlier idea is like that of bringing our own equipment's and having an meet, since major members want to see only new latest equipment's which were in the market sold by dealers and requested for another visit with this idea.. Hence as per plan B 90% of items will be of dealers and only 2 members system will be displayed in the meet which were of vintage/Musical type and members can feel about vintage and new modern systems.
Coming up on attending the meet, you are most welcome to attend with your family and friend.. Also we are incurring expenses for meet it should be shared equally by all attending members.
To have an healthy demo of each and every system to full satisafaction we are planning for sessions for each dealers/systems and also allocating timetable for every members for visiting the room and hope it should be adhered if there is enough co-operation between members.

Hi srini,
I request you to decide and announce what system from FM's will be on display/ demo. On a side note I will bring my SSP Preamp/ CNC Phono, which has been modded(SSP alone) with the PETP Russian caps, as suggested by our FM Sachin, and members can listen to the same. :licklips:

For sure (Mohd Nasser) Spendor S3/5A with Quad II( Rajiv ) with Lyrita DHT Pre ( srinisundar) will be in display and in hearing session
Cadence Arista + (Captnrajesh) will be paired with AA Tube amplifier + Dared tube amplifiers.
If there is space to demonstrate i will bring my Music hall Int.amp + Epos combo..

For now, please do count me in and another FM - KCG.
I am not too sure about transporting my system. Last time it was tough to arrange transport of my Lyrita amp. That 2A3 amp is available if interest is there. If KCG is willing we can also bring the Lyrita Harmony One (again if interest is there).
There are also the Equator Audio D5's - active nearfield studio monitors.

I just booked my ticket to reach Chennai on 10th. I wish to demo my DIY Record cleaning system. I will need an old TT , a wet and dry Euroclean V cleaner and a unwashed record and also a player to demo the record before and after cleaning. Some one local may please confirm they can get me the stuff I need. Thanks
