speakers for Outlaw Audio RR2150

someone i know uses an Outlaw RR2150 in the US.

RR2150 Stereo Receiver

Have any FM's heard this amp before ?

which floor standing speakers ( pre loved ) about USD 1200 will match well ?

Music - mixed taste

The combo should not be bright sounding or thin..

I was wondering if an Epos M16i would pair well

Not aware of this amp, but for abt USD 1,200 and if considering a new FS, consider Klipsch RP 280 F - https://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-Reference-RP-280F-Premiere-Floorstanding/dp/B00S2N4E1I

I own the RP-160 M BS and have paired it with Onkyo AVR, didn't find it bright..

I have Outlaw's monoblocs M2200. They have a bright-ish sound signature.
But RR2150 is said to have a warmer side to it; have not heard it personally.
Also it is one of the IAs that has bass management and tone control.
My guess is that these features make it a "philandering" amp for many a speaker pairing.

i was told to consider :

sonus faber toy towers
merlin tsm + sub
proac's D15 or equivalent
atc scm monitors + sub

The RR2150 is quite powerful 100W@8 ohm and 160W@4 ohm and includes a receiver + MM/MC phono stage - feature wise very good for a single box solution.

A " philandering " amp is good news for a music lover on a budget i guess

just wanted to update and end this thread..

Just in case someone in the future is looking at such a combo...

the Monitor Audio Silver RS6 works beautifully with the Outlaw RR2150 amp..

My friend is very happy with the combo..
