Spotify to offer lossless streaming service

Why do people opt for the platinum option over premium ? Platinum just offers some features like AI Djs, AI Playlist, Integrated DJ software etc ? The lossless streaming quality is the same as premium. I was wondering...in case there is a cost associated with it. Platinum is only available in some 4 countries now. It is a pilot/early rollout.

Sorry, maybe I am seeing this different here in the UK. Here, Platinum is not available now. There is only Premium. And Premium is lossless.

I think , premium is limited to 320kbps.
Platinum makes a bit of difference in quality. been using it for a week or so .
File quality for a current song being stream says , up to ... . so no idea what the actual stream is.

I did download Spotify premium
My experience is that what you will hear is not conclusive evidence of actually lossless or only the satisfaction of "lossless" being shown on your phone.

Not too happy with it

My morning sessions are kirtans and I guess I won't get any brownie points with my maker if I listen in lossless format!
