Subwoofer for my Mordaunt Short 908i+JBL Control Now

Finally got my speakers. MS 908i, MS alumni center and JBL Control now surrounds with a Denon 1909. Now I need a subwoofer to complement this. Looking at a budget of 20K stretchable to 25K if really necessary. Will an 8" SW suffice? looking at the Infinity ps8 as an option. Would really like help. Let me add that I'm not a big fan of thumping bass sounds...

Try the Mordaunt Short 309i , good VFM at below Rs.20000/- Wharfedale SW150 is also another subwoofer to audition well below Rs.25000/-. Dali is also another good one but with a higher price tag.
