Yes the V-Guard Crystal Plus will be more than enough for the LG42" TV.

This has High Voltage Cut-off: 290 V Input (240 V Output), Capacity 3 Amps, 120 - 290 V Input Voltage Range

Thanks! But as per the below specification: It supports only upto 1.3Amps not 3 Amps it seems.

Other Power Features High Voltage Cut-off: 290 V Input (240 V Output), Capacity 1.3 Amps, 90 - 290 V Input Voltage Range

@ Record Player...

is Crystal Plus Enough or not For my Setup....

Plz Help me Regard this

2) Videocon d2h HD or Tata Sky HD

3amp stabilizer can handle even 500W easily. Your TV and stb will draw a maximum of 100W. Even the 1.3A crystal mini can be used.

If you want stable power for binge-watching Apnetv Me, check V-Guard or Microtek stabilizers. They’re reliable for 47" TVs and protect well from voltage fluctuations.

I was personnaly using V-Guard Digi 200 for almost a decade for my Sony 55" and later for LG C3 65", and had no issues at all. Digi 200 has a 16amps plug so I used a 6amps to 16amps converter as the load was much within the range of 6amps and it worked perfectly. I even connected my AVR and subwoofer to the same digi 200 stab for protection and never witnessed its fan running.

Though, the Crystal Plus is enough for your requirement but If you want to future proof your investment you can go for digi 200 and add additional devices whenever needed or when you change your TV to a bigger size.

Is it necessary to use a stabilizer with TVs now? I have a LG C4 55 - the shopkeeper from where I bought the tv as well as the engineer who came to install the tv said stabilizer is no longer needed with modern TVs.

I think if there are fluctuations in your voltage supply, there may be a case.

At my home, I noticed major fluctuations in the voltage supply at night time so I got this stabilizer to feed into my step down transformer which is also connected to my AVR. Earlier with just the step down transformer, due to auto-shut-off feature, the step down tranformer used to switch off once the voltage exceeded 260V (you can see it in the display on the transformer) With the stabiliser connected, the voltage is kept at max 240V something so that problem is solved.

And as my stabilizer provided two sockets, I connected the other one to TV. So I'm rest assured the voltage fluctuations wont affect my AVR and TV.
