Hello all AV gurus,
There may be a lot of threads/posts on this issue, but I would like all you kind experts to suggest interconnects specifically to connect onkyo 3010 preouts to Emotiva xpa5. my speakers are b&w 683, htm61 centre, ds3 surrounds svs sb12 nsd. The system is used mostly for watching movies.
My budget is ?15k to 25k for all the five interconnects.
thank u:)

I recently tried the Supra Dual Interconnect (4000/pair) from Lakozy, Delhi - very nice sounding cable. The advantage is that running lengths can be cut to requirement and then dealer terminated using original Supra plugs. The other advantage is that you can take only 5 lengths instead of 3 pairs (Please confirm with Lakozy).

Thanks 351.. I have also been suggested VDH D102 MKlll and Chord Chameleon plus by Denny from Bass N Treble..any takes on that..??:):)

I have used VDH D102 MKIII a lot and its an amazing interconnect. If your budget permits 5 lengths, by all means go ahead. No experience with Chord Chameleon but the reviews are very good but it costs 8K/pair. If you are considering cables of that level, Supra EFF-I is another good option. I would rate it better than D102. But it is more expensive.

thanks spiro..it was not available with denny..but no issues can get it from somewhere else if i finalise the same. presently mr.murthy has agreed to lend his i/c ..let me see how they fare..but i am open to all valuable suggestions from the members.
thanks:)

Chrimson plus sounds a tad too lean. With the B&W and the Emotiva you may end up with a bright sounding setup. Chameleon plus is a good choice but as suggested on the expensive side and just may be an overkill here ! Chord stoppe.d the Cobra else would have been a perfect fit

Thanks RAAGA:)..my budget is around 25k for 5 lengths...i m a novice but i do like gud sound like everyone else on this forum. chameleon plus is on my list..if you have used any other I/C which you feel can sound gud with my gear onkyo 3010 as pre, emotiva xpa5 as power and b&w 683 set up please do let me know...i m still waiting for mr.murthy's DIY I/C ..he couriered them to me..
any other suggestions are more than welcome..
thanks:)

With that kinda budget go for the chameleon plus by all means. But you will get them in pairs only. If possible try Straight Wire Rhapsody S.

Mogami is far cheaper here ($51 for a 3ft pair, incl. shipping by USPS international priority to India) than that Audiogon link ($115 for 1 mt. pair, incl. international priority shipping by USPS).

I can't be sure, but the Audiogon interconnects must also be using Mogami 2549 Neglex (not mentioned in the link). The connectors look like they are the same (Neutrik Rean) in both cases. The Audiogon seller does give the additional service of a 100 hour break in.

I've bought these interconnects from Proaudiola before, and they are excellent indeed! The seller shipped the cables fast enough also.

I have been using Chord Crimson Plus for stereo. The sound is well balanced. I found it better than generic ICs. Its price is within your budget.

Yes, the Audiogon seller also uses 2549. I just bought one to try whether they sound any different compared to my locally made ones and yes there is a slight difference, the audiogon ones sound a bit clearer and transparent possibly due to better solder used.
