Iam on the lookout for replacing the tubes in the HMV Model 9163
hence i request all the member friends to guide me to procure the valves as mentioned below or its equivalent.

1. UCL82 - 2nos
2. UY85 - 1 no

Kindly help me.

sorry i do not have any idea. all i need is a good tube/valve at a price best affordable. Enlighten me on the valves.

you are unlikely to find this tube anytime soon. The U series valves need 50V for the heater and the SQ is tolerable for a radio. A mediocre valve but sought after by the 5 valve all American tube radio restorers.

UY85
This is a half wave rectifier. Again difficult to find. Why do you need to replace it? It will either work or be open. If it is working than no significant gain can be had by replacing with a new one.
