Such a de-constructionist approach is not going to be fruitful. You need to hear something you like, then hear something even better and realize what you liked originally wasn't the great one after all, then having the intellectual muse about whats inside and its parameters makes sense.

Cheers

Gobbie ,

Thats what we are doing here .... for discussing users for there taste and likes or dislikes ....we are here understand each and every specifications makes diffident impact . different sound .
whats impractical ....

Hello Vikram,

Specifications in audio equipment reflect just engineering guidelines. Unfortunately, they have no correlation as to how the good the equipment sounds when reproducing music.

The only judge there are your ears - you have to listen to find out. And do start thinking in terms of music systems, rather than just individual components.

Viren

To add to Viren's point, specs are like the length of a car-you can have a car of 4.2-4-4 m length which could be a Swift DZire, or a Toyota Etios or a Corolla or a BMW, going by the length all are almost equal, but in fact we all know they are not. The same applies to applying technical specs like weight and power consumption to a tube amp.

dear George ,

I got your point , let me auditions tube amp for comment and experience more ...
