I need to do some recording where the source material is DAT tapes from the 90s. Currently I have a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 USB audio interface which lacks an optical/digital input.
I want to capture the best possible quality recording off the DATs where the material is all 48khz.
Looking at the RME Babyface Pro or even the PrismSound Lyra 1. Any other suggestions?
